Tailmon (テイルモン, Teirumon) is Yagami Hikari's Digimon partner and a main character in Digimon Adventure.

In the Digital World Tailmon and Hawkmon train as Sylphimon, while Piyomon and Palmon watch in awe. After their training, Tailmon and Hawkmon notice Palmon and Piyomon trying to Jogress evolve, which confuses them.[3]

By 2027, Tailmon is by Hikari's side, who has become a kindergarten teacher and had a Son.[4] One day Hikari tells Tailmon that she wants to set up a kindergarten in the Digital World where Digimon and children can study together. While Tailmon supports her, Hikari asks her to be a counselor in her kindergarten. Despite Tailmon's misgivings about her skills with children, she agrees when she sees how important it is to Hikari.[5] On another day, Tailmon joins Hikari and her son to a meeting with all the other Chosen Children and their Digimon in the Digital World.[4]
